The EVSL experience
The EVSL welcomes anyone who wants to join a classical choir and is ready to make the effort to progress vocally. The choir is equally suited to experienced singers and first-timers.
The EVSL is a place of learning and development, where choristers work assiduously to give the choir a unique vocal personality. Weekly rehearsals take place in a spirit of fun and caring, two values held dear by the group.
The choir generally presents two concerts a year: one at Christmas and one at the end of the year (May-June). The works presented are drawn mainly from the classical repertoire across the ages (classical, baroque, renaissance, contemporary), and combine sacred and secular songs sung in varied languages: French, Latin, English, German, Spanish and others.

Audition
Choristers with or without musical or choral experience are invited to take part in a short audition to determine their section and preferred learning path.
Rehearsals
Weekly rehearsals take place on Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. at the Centre des loisirs de Saint-Laurent at 1375 rue Grenet, room 231. Intensive rehearsal days are added to the rehearsal schedule. Dates will be announced at the beginning of the season.
Membership fees
The membership fee is $210 for the fall 2025 session and $210 for the winter-spring 2026 session.
